Capstone Project: Adult Obesity Analysis in Ohio

Business Problem

Obesity is a major public health challenge in the U.S. Understanding regional patterns helps healthcare organizations allocate resources and design targeted interventions.

Objective

Identify key behavioral, clinical, and socioeconomic factors influencing obesity rates and classify counties into risk categories.

Data

CDC PLACES dataset covering 88 Ohio counties with variables like physical inactivity, blood pressure, diabetes, sleep patterns, food insecurity, and insurance coverage.
